Hey Guys!
On the 13th of December was a great AMA, held by Hooligan.Joe with TheDefiJedi, Ferryman, The R!OT, and Frens.
So let’s have a brief recap of what has been discussed.
And the opener for this conversation was the topic of crew3 implementation and its success of that. This platform and the idea of allowing the community to complete the quests was a great idea and improved itself during both seasons of the Teritori game.
The next important thing discussed is that THE R!OT NFT’s were chosen as the first project launched on Teritori because it was crucial to show “how-to” to every single project that will come after. Besides, Teritori is there for the exact purpose:
“All that we're doing with Teritori, we mostly used to do some advisory stuff for NFT projects, I mean as an agency prior to building the whole vision behind territory. So we really wanted to kind of give an example and also wanted to in the same way as we are using Crew 3 for engagement and community contributions, we also like to do some kind of reward system for the community with the playground concept so the reason for this AMA was to talk a little bit about the latest updates on the light paper and then later on that is coming out in a few days from now because there are a lot of features that we need to be very clear about there were a few updates, especially regarding the real world distribution mechanism which is now daily.”
Also - Ferryman pointed out one more very important topic not just for Teritori, but actually for every project that wants to live a long and happy life - the community:
“At some point, some guys suggested that we did a weekly AMA, you know, like a town hall with the community. And I love the idea and we can definitely do better and take more time to exchange with the community, discuss, you know, keep the link alive, and because at the end of the day it's what really matters. It's community. I mean whatever project you want to build if you don't have a community that trusts you, and believes in the project division, basically you have nothing.”
The next question from Hooligan Joe was: “why Teritori? Like why should I be on this chain? Why should I be a part of what's cooking?”
So have a look at what the founder replied to that:
“Yeah, a very good question to get started. So you know, what we're trying to do with Teritori is build a social hub for communities. So mostly what we're trying to build is social features, making sure that you can create a space for people to interact and engage with each other, build stuff and go further basically. And also on the decentralized alternative to what we use every day on a daily basis, just like for instance this Twitter space and to get started and to go to market, basically, we started with NFTS because as I was saying at the very beginning.
Most of the Teritori courting was providing some advisory services to NFT projects for a long time. Another part is mostly coming from the vertical team which is a more tech-oriented protocol that we're going to implement at some point for the token-gated groups and I go further regarding it. But The thing is what is about, I mean what communities are about this especially when it comes to working through and The thing is we believe that. Especially in this term market, the most active communities are mostly NFT projects. And so we figured out it would be very interesting for us to get started with NFTS because we would have our early birds, the very beginning of our community coming from projects that are very active on discord, Twitter, and so on. And this would make a perfect match with the very features that we want to release. And right now the next step for us is to really embrace this social hub or social network we could say at some point vision because you know right now we have the TNS, we have the launchpad, the marketplace, but in early January we're going to release the social feed. So basically we'll be able to post stuff on Teritori comments, even tip content creators, and even more than that. And also another thing that is very important regarding the vision that we have for territories is being able to onboard committees from here and there. And by that I mean obviously, we're very pleased to see that we managed to gather people from the cosmos, from various communities. And it's very nice because we see that we have a lot of interesting conversations with a lot of projects, a lot of communities. But now we're going to release some of the features that we already have on other networks such as Ethereum. And so we're going to onboard some Ethereum guys and soon after that, we're also on board some Solana guys.
You know, at the end of the day, onboarding as many people as possible, also focusing on NFT communities at first, but not only and yeah, you know, big becoming bigger of a community project, bigger for the social hub, with more interactions between people and hopefully we'll see more projects, you know, coming out of it.”
Very well!

But what about the goal? Becoming a king of marketplaces - is that a long or short-term goal?
Ferryman said:
“I mean at the end what we would like to see on Teritori is a lot of different communities and NFT project houses, even companies, and families. I mean I could sum up the vision with an image today you can create like a WhatsApp group, bring in your family, customers, friends, whatever it is. You can also create a discord server with your community. You can create a telegram chat. The idea is to do this but on a decentralized tool and make sure that all these groups if they want to, can exchange and interact with each other and not just so we have like a social field that shouldn't be completely public.
It's like every post is a transaction on the chain so you can see, you can definitely see the content within the metadata. So it's fully public. But we also want to be able to offer token-gated groups and for people that care about privacy as well because you know we're going to implement beauty protocol which is a peer-to-peer messaging protocol and there are various settings that you can use with for instance if you want to.
Let's say you were in the part of the world where things suck.
